Q: Where do mosquitoes come from?
A: Adult mosquitoes lay their eggs in standing water, the larva, also, hatch and develop in water. Because they need water to complete their life cycle, treating the sources is important to prevent the larva from becoming breeding, biting, and potentially disease carrying adults

Q: Are the mosquitoes I see on my property from places on my property?
A: Most mosquitoes you see are from your property or your neighbors! They usually stay close to the area where they developed into adults.

Q: Can the products you apply be used around people and pets with confidence?
A: Yes. These products are EPA approved and are applied by well trained, licensed PMP’s. The chemicals are designed to target insects and only insects.

Q: Are regular treatments necessary?
A: Regular treatments are recommended whenever conditions are conducive to mosquito’s reproduction

Q: How many months per year should we treat?
A: Treatment should begin as soon as the temperature is regularly above 65 degrees Fahrenheit and should continue through the fall.

Q: Are the mosquitoes around here the ones that cause diseases?
A: Yes, while there are hundreds of different species of mosquito, there are two basic classification, floodwater and permanent water mosquitoes; both types carry and transmit West Nile Virus and other diseases.

Helpful Hints:

Make sure your downspouts are taking the water away from the home, not forming puddles in certain areas. Dry wells in areas of standing water are a simple solution.

Extend the water from A/C condensation lines by adding a clear 1 ¼” hose to direct water away from the home and prevent puddles from forming.

Wood decks: make sure if you have downspouts that go under the deck that you extend those lines to prevent water from pooling under the deck, a mosquito breeding ground
